Lori

I am a devoted and compassionate mental health counselor committed to supporting individuals & goodness and dignity in navigating life’s challenges by creating space for growth and human flourishing. I see clients through the lens of theology, philosophy, and the psychological sciences. With a genuine zeal for helping others, my true Self likes to create calm and inviting spaces where all your parts can be explored through thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

I earned my master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. In the last two years, I have gained a solid foundation in counseling theories, techniques, and ethical and moral principles. Additionally, I completed supervised clinical internship and practicum experiences, gaining in-person and virtual counseling experiences from diverse populations.

As a Provisionally Licensed LPC and Certified Life Coach, I have gained valuable experience under a licensed counselor's supervision while working towards full licensure. During this period, I have been dedicated to deepening my counseling skills and expanding my knowledge in IFS, EMDR, Polyvagal, and Attachment theory.

I actively engage in ongoing education and professional development opportunities as part of my commitment to providing high-quality care. I stay informed about the latest research and best practices in counseling, ensuring that my skills and knowledge remain current and relevant. I belong to the Catholic Psychotherapy Association (CPA) and the American Counseling Association (ACA). Outside of my professional life, I enjoy gardening, lap swimming, hiking, and reading. I have been happily married for 28 years and am the proud parent of two children named Noah and Brooke, both of whom are attending college. I am currently accepting new clients and would be honored to accompany you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery.
